Instagana Live! (IGL) is a US-based NGO founded by Krishnakumar Narayanan and Sunitha Krishnakumar who have been living in US for over 30 years. IGL promotes music talents among every household irrespective of their knowledge in music. For over 3 years now, IGL has staged more than 200 debut singers in USA as well as in India. Word of mouth has spread viral among the Indian community in USA that inspired and instigated many to sing who is now part of IGL family. We at IGL are on a constant endeavor to find new talents and are also in search of improvising the IGL through concept technology and people. IGL uses musical instruments and/or karaoke tracks, latest technology sound systems and the singers imbibe the motivation and thoroughly rehearse before staging.
IGL promotes a variety of musical entries: Solo, Duets, Groups, Classical, Light music, Devotional in popular Indian languages (Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc) as well as English. We also strive to bring out innovative ideas such as “Screen Raagas” wherein the IGL participants would pick one or two Indian Classical Raagas and explain how they were used in Krithis as well as popular film songs.
To-date, we have conducted 37 live events in US and India and many more events are in the planning phases. We have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/instaganalive/

IGL has four pillars: Music, Technology, Community and Charity.
Here’s a brief description on what each pillar means for IGL:

Music – Continue to encourage musicians in the world to collaborate and perform on live stages. We’re already doing this with great many singers and instrumentalists.

Technology: Utilize the advanced technologies available to bring the IGL communities together. We’re already using Whatsapp and Facebook for sharing information and accomplishments. We plan to use Facebook Messenger and Bots using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We plan to encourage middle and high school students to help with these technical projects.

Community: It’s a large group of people who align with IGL mission. IGL Friends, Families and Schools form this group. We’re doing very good in this area. We will continue to innovate new ideas for collaboration.

Charity: The beneficiary of IGL activities. This includes Ashram, Senior Home, Palliative Care, and other similar organization.

Our future plans include expanding to other cities in US and India as well as serve many more Social Service Organizations so we can build strong communities using music and singing.
